    Hey Sinclair,

This might not be answering the question of what my FAVORITE queer films are (although Maedchen in Uniform is pretty damn good), but also worth checking out for historical purposes are:

    Maedchen in Uniform
    The Vampire Lovers
    The Killing of Sister George
    She Must Be Seeing Things

I’ll come back to list more if I think of some.

  2. Oh. Yeah. I forgot all about “Night is Falling”! Love that film.

  3. Andi says:

Feast of Love with Morgan Freeman has a lesbian subplot, perhaps one many of us can relate to. While it's more about the main character's cluelessness (Greg Kinnear), the whole movie I found enjoyable and would recommend it to everyone.

  4. Bettina says:

okay, not to be annoying and comment again, but also–

barbara hammer does some cool arty 70s lesbian porn. dyketactics, double strength, and women i love are the ones i have seen. (they're shorts– no more than 40 minutes total).

  5. lindsay says:

watermelon woman. cheryl dunye and guinevere turner had one of the best sex scenes i've ever seen in my life. and stranger inside was a great film too.

  6. sonja says:

I can't believe D.E.B.S only got one mention! Adore that little film. Also,

    – Lost and Delirious features a very hot Piper Perabo, pre-Coyote Ugly

    – Ma Vie en Rose (My Life in Pink) might be my favourite queer film, about a little girl born in a little boy's body.

    Love these lists, though.

I would also dare suggest :

    Treading Water
